SANJOSE will build the 25 MW photovoltaic solar plant at Valencia Airport

Aena has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the execution works for the engineering, supply, construction, commissioning, training, and maintenance of a 25 MW photovoltaic solar plant at Valencia Airport, designed to provide the facility with self-sufficient energy. The project also includes the evacuation systems for the new plant, encompassing the power evacuation lines, (SET and STM).

Located on a 35-hectare plot, the new plant will consist of a generating field with approximately 42,000 photovoltaic modules, which are expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere by more than 8,500 tons per year.
