SANJOSE will build 500 affordable homes for the Plan VIVE IV of the Community of Madrid

Móstoles Alquila and Loeches Alquila have awarded SANJOSE Constructora the construction of 500 affordable homes under Plan VIVE IV of the Community of Madrid: 308 in Móstoles (across 5 buildings) and 192 in Loeches (across 4 buildings). All homes will include parking spaces, storage rooms, and shared amenities such as swimming pools, coworking areas, and gyms.

Across all phases of Plan VIVE—Spain’s leading example of public-private collaboration to promote access to housing—SANJOSE will have built more than 5,000 homes in the various awarded lots, representing over 625,000 square meters (6,727,444 sqf) of built surface across 30 developments throughout the region: Valdebebas (Madrid), Torrelodones, Alcalá de Henares, Colmenar Viejo, Getafe, San Sebastián de los Reyes, Tres Cantos, Torrejón de Ardoz, Móstoles, Alcorcón, Villalbilla, Aranjuez, Navalcarnero, and Loeches.

It is worth highlighting that throughout the design and construction phases of all these projects, BIM methodology is being used, with particular emphasis on industrialized solutions such as prefabricated façades and bathrooms. This approach optimizes resources, shortens timelines, and provides multiple sustainability benefits. All projects are also certified BREEAM® Good, achieve Energy Rating A, and incorporate efficient heating and cooling systems based on aerothermal energy.
